       My wife and I are so very happy with our new home built and modified by Werrlein Properties.  Our house was a modest 1953 rancher and the goal was to refurbish it entirely while keeping the majority of its foundation.  There were numerous modifications to the house throughout its 66 years of existence and thus, an architect was needed to provide a conceptual working design of our space.

       The Werrlein Properties team lead by Jonathan & Karl were excellent.  Our project was completed in 4 months.  I have heard of kitchens & bathrooms taking up to 4 months! Basically everything needed to and was removed from the house with the exception of the studs and some roofing.  The most impressive part of this process was the efficiency in which all household items were replaced & modified.  We had some major structural challenges that needed labor, lumber & knowhow.  Karl had a solid understanding of load bearing & structural support needed to create new & efficient living spaces for us and he was readily able to adapt to challenges as needed.

       We have finally settled in our beautiful home in Hyattsville! We are the lucky recipients of the 41st Avenue property with the wrap around porch. We can't tell you enough about how much we appreciate the special care and level of detail the Werrlein team put into this home. Karl was always available to discuss construction details with us. Ernesto was prompt and through with any adjustments we requested. And Jonathan, you're the best! What we like most is that you don't oversell the products that go into the homes you construct. You gave a generous budget to select the features we wanted. Mostly, your entire team was flexible throughout the process. We have purchased newly constructed homes in the past, but we both agree the Werrlein team was by far the best of them! We are looking forward to many years in this home. Thanks so much!

       Jon and team were a blessing in disguise! After searching for homes for almost a year and not finding exactly what I wanted, I met Jon. I had toured a home he'd renovated in NE DC that was finished with such great craftsmanship and detail, that I decided to reach out to Jon in hopes he had similar properties on the market. Unfortunately at that time he didn't; however, a month later he reached back out informing me of a property he'd recently purchased in my ideal location and that if I was interested I could put a contract on the house and we would work together on the home finishes/etc. I jumped on the opportunity because not only was I getting a home in my ideal location but I was involved in the decisioning process, thereby creating a home with my personal touches. Jon promised a completely renovated home within 6-8 weeks and absolutely met those expectations! The house is great and nothing short of amazing. I can't thank Jon and team enough for making my dream come true. I would recommend this team to anyone!

       My housing search lasted more than a year. When I waked in the door I knew my search was finally over. All rehabs are not created equally. From crown moldings, to back splashes, fully fenced yard, finished basement, full size washer and dryer and top notch kitchen appliances...Jonathan and his team delivered quality and affordability, a rare find in this market. My first home buying experience was absolutely phenomenal thanks to Jonathan. I've been in my home for more than a year and I have to admit, it's still the best house on the block!

       My husband and I lived in a DC for many years, loved our 100 year old building with its beautiful architecture but needed a larger place. We did not want to compromise on quality and style and planned to buy an older home with good bones and renovate it to our liking with an open floor plan for living, as well as update it with modern conveniences, if needed. We saw one of Jon’s homes online and decided to take a look because the floorplan had everything we wanted to recreate in an older home. We fell in love with the house as first glance because of the well thought-out floorplan, sunny rooms and more.

 

       The house was partially completed at the time and we were able select many of the fixtures such as appliances, flooring, counter tops in the kitchen and bathrooms and lighting. We had a 3-week trip planned after we put the contract on the house and Jon was great at working on these details while we were away and he kept the timeline on track. Jon goes above and beyond when it comes to quality and we have enjoyed a great working relationship with him. We continue to consult with him and have added a fence and utility shed this summer with his help of finding good contractors. Not only do we continue to love our house, but like that it is in an existing neighborhood (it’s not cookie cutter) and the style fits in with the existing housing.
